Labs in Department of Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

The department of Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering was started in 2005 with an intake of 43 students. The department having well qualified and experienced faculty members to improve and enhance the knowledge of the student community. The department has good laboratory facilities equipped with the latest technologies. The first batch of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation department passed out in 2009. Department scored 3 ranks in the academic year 2009- '10.

  • Objective:
    • To promote the research among staffs and students of both PG and UG.
    • To provide an idea on virtual designing of instruments and its operations. It contains Matlab, LabVIEW, PLC, Distributed Control softwares.

Vimal Jyothi Engineering College in association with Centre of Excellence in Entrepreneurship Development (CEED) & Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) and support from Kerala Startup Mission, is planning to organise a Two Week Faculty Development Program on "Entrepreneurship Development " from 11th to 23rd December 2017, under the banner of VJ Inspire - Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell, VJEC. The programme is designed to train and develop professionals in the area of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development in Engineering and Technical Institutions so that they can act as 'Resource Persons' in guiding and motivating young students, particularly through IEDC’s, to take up Entrepreneurship as their career.
