Labs in Department of Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

The department of Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering was started in 2005 with an intake of 43 students. The department having well qualified and experienced faculty members to improve and enhance the knowledge of the student community. The department has good laboratory facilities equipped with the latest technologies. The first batch of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation department passed out in 2009. Department scored 3 ranks in the academic year 2009- '10.

Applied Electronics Laboratory

  • Objective: Provide an idea about electronic components, circuits and its applications.

  • Objective: Introduce different instrumentation systems, and its calibration.

  • Objective: Introduce the mini models of Process Plants to students and the analysis of each plant.

Research Laboratory/ Virtual Instrumentation Laboratory

  • Objective:
    • To promote the research among staffs and students of both PG and UG.
    • To provide an idea on virtual designing of instruments and its operations. It contains Matlab, LabVIEW, PLC, Distributed Control softwares.

Project Lab

  • Objective: The Lab will be providing various technical equipment and support for students to help them in materialising their innovative ideas.
