Department of Civil Engineering

The Civil Engineering department was established in the year 2010.Department offers Undergraduate (B.Tech) programme in Civil Engineering, AICTE , approved the course. The department has been imparting quality education to meet the technological advancement and industrial require_oncements. This has been made possible due to qualified and dedicated faculty, state of the art laboratories and infrastructure facilities.

CESA : Department of Computer Science & Engineering

CESA is the computer engineering students association, one of the active associations of VJEC. The association was formulated for the training of students in latest changes in the field of computers.


Our vision is to be the leading association in providing services regarding technical information and services to its members and the whole VJEC community.


The mission of the association is to provide the highest quality instruction to our students, conducting leading-edge research in computer science and engineering, and providing leadership and service to our professional communities' .

EAGLES : Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering

The Electronics & Communication Students Association (EAGLES) was proposed with an objective to provide a platform for students to realize, enhance and polish their skills in the field of Electronics & Communication by organizing various activities that contribute to the academic and professional development of students along with leadership qualities, teamwork and other essential employability skills. Electronics & Communication Engineering students association activities of the year 20011 was inaugurated on 25th January 2011 by Dr.Anith Nelleri.

ELTRIX : Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Electrical and Electronics students association named ELTRIX started on 2003. Association conducted different kinds of activities such as Seminars, Intercollegiate quiz competition, Project presentation etc for the improvement of overall performance of our students. It is a group of efficient, energetic young students of Electrical department. In the last year, ELTRIX conducted OJAS 2008, includes intercollegiate Project Presentation and Exhibition in our Campus.

YANTHRIKI : Department of Mechanical Engineering

The Mechanical Engineering Association viz, ‘Yanthriki’ is quite active during the year 2009-2010. Dr.P.Venkatakrishnan, Deputy Project Director, GSLV MK III, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Trivandrum participated as Chief Guest and delivered a speech on ‘Aerospace Manufacturing’. Dr.S.Annamala Pillai, Senior Scientist from Sarabhai Space Centre delivered a speech on ‘Experimental Stress Analysis’.

I-ZONE : Department of Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

I ZONE’ is a group of young instrumentation engineers having the feeling of togetherness deep inside them and with an urge to work hand in hand towards success. ‘I Zone’ aims not only at the academic development of students but also at their all round development and helps them growing into full fledged engineers.
